This afternoon at CeBIT, Nokia announced a new Series 60 phone: The 7610.
Here are some of the features of the 7610:
- 1 megapixel camera
- works with Nokia Lifeblog
- Movie Director app on phone
- video recorder up to 10 minutes
- 8 megs internal memory, with 64 meg "Reduced Size MMC" (move on, guys)
- funky keypad
- MP3/AAC player
- smaller/sleeker design
- Java MIDP 2.0
- Bluetooth and USB connectivity, no IR
The 7610 seems to be the upgraded inernals of a 6600/6620 (but lacking EDGE) in a very sleek package. Availability: Q2 2004. That's pretty soon.
